Since the last 7 hundred years the Qawali has been a bridge between the different religions of the world and particularly in the people of the subcontinent and it still has the same worth in the present society. It creates a spiritual harmony and rhythm in the people’s heart and in society it always gives the message of peace, humanity, love and tolerance to the people and brings them closer to each other. The soul of the Qawali is to create brotherhood through its message. Qawali has the power to get people together through its musical rhythm and to make people’s heart soft and love full towards each other. Usually 4 people sing in Qawali and one plays harmonium while one play tabla and others sing and clap as well. Clapping is second main and essential part of the Qawali. Through clapping performers create rhythm and harmony in Qawali. In fact without clapping singing Qawali is not really possible.
We aim to jointly celebrate the centenary celebrations of a person who is well known for his literary work. We strongly believe that art and humanity know no boundaries and physical borders do not hinder the flow of message of love and peace.
